Section 24 – Wentworth Post Office Postage Stamp Competition
Section of the Schedule Competitions
The EMU cannot fly but they are very good at swimming, maybe across the Darling or the Murray River. Their long necks and long legs would enable them to deliver the mail quickly while their soft, fluffy feathers would protect the mail from the weather. They are said to be good problem solvers and have a very curious personality so I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
Most importantly be creative and have fun with your postage stamp.
The Postage Stamp entries will be displayed in the Children’s Work Shed. Entries are to be delivered to the Secretary’s Office by 10.00 am Friday 29th August and all artwork including school displays must be collected from the Children’s Work Shed on Sunday at the conclusion of the show or from the shed on Monday 1st September. Prize money can be collected from the Secretary’s Office after 5pm on Sunday 31st August.
Entries are to be A4 size and please ensure the child’s name, age, class & school are printed on the back of your entry.
