NATURE’S GIFTS

(NATURE TO ART ON CANVAS)

ENTRY FEE: $2.00 (includes a stretched canvas)

We invite you to enter this year’s exciting new Art Competition celebrating the beauty of nature. Take a closer look at the many treasures in nature all around us and show off your creative and artistic talent. Students and community members are encouraged to participate.

Your 3D picture of Nature’s Gifts will require a two-step process:
Step 1: Seek out & collect natural materials found in our beautiful region (bark, leaves, twigs, grape canes, feathers, sand etc.)
Step 2: Create a picture (abstract or realistic) from your finds by gluing them onto the provided stretched canvas (20cm x 20cm).
Further details, hints & guidelines will be included with the canvas when you pick it up.

We hope you’ll have fun in both ‘Seeking’ and ‘Creating’.

Pick up your Canvas from Ruby’s Cargo, Adams Street, Wentworth for an Entry Fee of $2.00. The stretched canvas, additional competition details and hints etc. are provided in a brown paper carry bag together with the Official Entry Form.

CLOSING DATE: Deliver your artwork and Entry Form back to Ruby’s Cargo by this time.
No late entries will be accepted. NOTE: Please protect your artwork by placing it in the brown paper carry bag for delivery. Winners will receive Prize Money, Certificate & Ribbon. Prize Money may be collected from the Secretary’s Office after 5pm on Sunday 29th August.
